Bandon Dunes was the first course on this stretch of Oregon coastline, and it set the terms for everything that followed: firm, fast links turf running hard against the Pacific, laid out by David McLay Kidd at par 72 over 6,732 yards.
There's nothing to rent here but a caddie—Bandon Dunes is walking-only, like every course on the property, and the ocean is in view from enough tees that you'll want to slow down and look.
Along the bluffsBandon Dunes doesn't like to talk about signature holes, but if pressed, most people land on the 16th—a short, reachable par 4 along the cliff edge with the Pacific taking up the entire left side of the hole. It's the shot people replay in their heads on the flight home, and it sets the tone for a course that's more about moments like that than any one famous hole.
Bandon Dunes is walking-only and in very high demand—tee times are released as part of a stay-and-play package through the resort’s own reservations portal, not booked à la carte.
