Tom Doak's Old Petty opened in July 2025 next door to Castle Stuart and immediately joined the do-both conversation: quieter lines, wilder greens, and a routing that lets the land—not the framing—do the talking.
Where Castle Stuart flatters, Old Petty asks questions: half the approach shots are best played along the ground, and the green complexes create short-game puzzles Doak fans will recognize from Pacific Dunes.
