Tom Doak built No. 10 on an abandoned sand mine south of the village, and the land—75 feet of elevation change, exposed sand ridges, a natural amphitheater or two—gives it the most drama of any Pinehurst course since Ross's day.
Opened in 2024, it instantly became the resort's third heavyweight. It plays firm and fast, rewards the ground game, and walks beautifully with a caddie.
Doak · 2024Doak shaped the resort's tenth course from old sand-mining ground south of the village and left the scars in play—ridges, spoils and fairways that tumble more than anything else at Pinehurst.
Tee times are booked with a resort stay or day package—No. 2 and No. 10 are effectively guests-only. Spring and fall dates go 6–12 months out.
