Sheep Ranch
For years Sheep Ranch was a rumor more than a course—a private, mysterious stretch of cliff-top land just north of Bandon Dunes that Coore & Crenshaw eventually turned into a full 18, opened to resort guests at par 72 over 6,636 yards.
There isn't a single bunker on the course; the cliffs and the wind do all the defending.
Late in the round the 17th runs right along the cliff, its green watched over by a bare, wind-killed pine that's become the course's calling card—every branch combed inland by decades of ocean gale. There isn't a bunker anywhere on Sheep Ranch to bail you out; here it's the sea down one side, the wind in your face, and a sky that catches fire at the end of the day.
Greens are scheduled for aeration 20–22 October 2026, with roughly 14 days of recovery after. Expect normal green speeds from about 5 Nov.
