Chambers Bay is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. links routed through a converted sand-and-gravel quarry on Puget Sound, and at 7,158 yards from the tips it's one of the longest courses you'll play—a stage substantial enough that it hosted the 2015 U.S. Open.
It's county-owned and open to the public, walking-only, with fescue turf that runs hard and fast in the Pacific Northwest wind.
Club members put Chambers Bay on watch—when a time opens on their dates, they hear about it first.
