Commons is Sand Valley's newest course—a 12-hole, par-45 routing by Jim Craig built for togetherness as much as for golf. It's inspired by the communal spirit of Scotland's great town courses like North Berwick: fast rounds, the ground game, and a course built for the whole family, not just serious golfers.
The round opens with a par-5 across bold, undulating ground and closes with a dramatic four-hole run around the peninsula of Luna Lake—a stretch some at the resort already call the best set of finishing holes on the property. Expect to see other groups out for an evening walk as the sun sets over the lake.
The Luna Lake Finish · Holes 9-12Commons closes with four holes wrapped around the peninsula of Luna Lake—a stretch the resort itself has called possibly the best set of finishing holes anywhere at Sand Valley. It's the kind of run built for a golden-hour tee time, when the lake catches the light and the pace of a 12-hole loop still leaves room for one more.
