Kyle Franz—the restoration hand behind Pinehurst's Mid Pines and Southern Pines—got a blank canvas of Florida sand ridge and built Karoo, a course that plays far bigger than its scorecard: exposed sand, wiregrass, and greens with real attitude.
It's the headliner at Citrus Farms and the round to play first. Width off the tee is deceptive; the angles into these greens decide everything.
