An hour north of Tampa, Cabot turned the old World Woods property into a sand-barrens playground: Kyle Franz's Karoo and Roost run big and rumpled over ridges you'd swear were Carolina, not Florida, with two short courses tucked between them.
It's the easiest Cabot trip to pull off—fly to Tampa, golf by lunch, and the peak season is exactly when the northern courses are under snow. Rounds are priced to encourage the same-day replay; take them up on it.
