Coore & Crenshaw compare the Rodeo Dunes property to Sand Hills—the course that launched their career and the entire minimalist movement—and they've routed their first Colorado design through dunes up to ninety feet tall, built largely by hand.
Public play opens May 1, 2027 at $350 with replays at $175, and a second course by Jim Craig follows. This is the ground-floor moment for what Dream Golf intends as its mountain-west anchor.
Nobody has played Rodeo Dunes yet, but the plan already exists the way Coore & Crenshaw plans always have—walked first, then sketched by hand over the contours of the dunes. The card it produces reads par 72 and 6,969 from the Blacks, with tees all the way down to a 4,309-yard Sage. Until there's grass to photograph, this is the truest picture of the course there is.
