Roost is Karoo's shorter, sneakier sibling—same rumpled sand, tighter corridors, more temptation. Plenty of players leave calling it their favorite of the two.

Drivable par 4s and half-par holes keep every match alive, and the walk is easy enough to make 36 a normal day.

The Roost runs through Brooksville's old citrus and pine country on pure sand—firm, fast, and bouncier than anything else in Florida's midsection. Late light through the longleafs is the property at its best.
