On the island of Gimsøya, Lofoten Links threads between granite outcrops and the open Atlantic—ranked among the world's top 100 and utterly unlike anywhere else you'll play. From late May to mid-July the sun never sets, and the tee sheet runs around the clock.

Book the 2 a.m. tee time at least once: the light goes gold, the sea calms, and you'll have the course nearly alone. Stay in the lodges beside the first tee, and go in September if you'd rather trade midnight sun for northern lights.
